About the Founder

Marci Tjader, founded the original group, Mommy Networking (now Savvy Moms Network) in November 2005 after the birth of her daughter. She had spent many years in the corporate world working in Accounting, Administrative, and Marketing roles. After her daughter was born, she knew her lifestyle and career goals would change so she wanted to create a group that would support not only her, but other working moms all over.

• She envisioned a national organization where moms with young/grown children, grandmothers, step mothers, mothers to be “connected”.
• Moms who worked in corporate, flexible shifts, full time or part time, at home, and entrepreneurial roles “connected”.
• A group that had resources to share amongst the members and supportive topics applying to our personal or professional lives.
• A group that welcomed kids to socialize while utilizing local babysitters.
• And an organization that offered diversity and flexibility to connect the members through in-person, online and teleconferences so that each of us have an opportunity to connect regardless of distance or scheduling.

Once this group was formed, she decided to pursue avenues within her college courses of Psychology. She was a Certified Baby Signs® Instructor learning that she had the patience and the love to teach communication to babies and toddlers. Her love for teaching children expanded into teaching and coaching adults in all aspects of their lives, and is now living her life’s purpose as a Certified Personal Power Coach (www.MarciTjader.com) .

Marci takes her past corporate experiences, her psychology courses, and her coaching education, and brings it to Savvy Moms so that all members receive value and support in return.

I am happy to say, in the short life of this group, it IS that vision with many more milestones and opportunities in store for the future!

Yet for Marci, the key to this evolving and growing organization’s success is its outstanding members, sponsors, and the Chapter Leaders who have committed their time, talents, and heart into contributing and creating such a valuable group for us all!
